I've been a patron of Marie Louise beauty salon for a while now and came in today to get some crochet braids. Not only are they really quick and friendly, but the whole salon is now remodeled! But I can really appreciate is their time in detail and the fact that they didn't rush me. Also, I love when a stylist knows how to crochet hair so that I can part it and style the front to make it look nice for different occasions. As you can see the detail in the hair here. Also, you can buy your hair and other beauty products as this salon is also a beauty supply. If you're looking to rent a chair to do hair as a stylist check them out and reach out to see if they have a booth available..
The stylist was nice but did a bad job braiding my hair. I showed her a photo of what I wanted but it was nothing close. I bought hair thinking the braids would look thicker (I have thin hair) but she didn't use much. There were so many hairs sticking out and overall poor job cause the braids lasted for 1 day. The braids were very loose and I had to wear a beanie to hide the bottom of my hair. It was a hot mess. I had to take down my braids the night after. $120 down the drain. Another thing, I noticed that they charged me $37 for hair when they originally told me it was $10.99. I feel ripped off -- look at your receipts before giving them your card. So disappointed and sad cause she was very nice and was easy to speak with. Unfortunately I'm never coming back and will have to travel further for a better stylist. 3 stars for her friendliness.
Got knotless box braids at Marie's. Customer Service was amazing! Booking was quick and easy. I love it here they really took their time with my hair and I couldn't be any more grateful. They were so accepting of my preferences and how I like my hair to be styled. They are also very knowledgeable and gave me so many tips and feedback. A whole in the wall family run shopped. Please invest your time and money here they deserve it.
